Bangladeshi Couple Becomes Global Porn Stars, Draws Youth into Industry
A 28-year-old woman, whose name starts with B and ends with I (referred to as B in this report), publicly presents herself on social media as “Bangladesh’s number one model.” In reality, she has built a career in the global adult film industry. In one of the world’s largest adult websites, she is currently ranked 8th among performers worldwide, as of Oct 16, 2025.
Her first video was uploaded on May 17, 2024. By mid-Oct, 2025, she had released 112 videos, which together received over 267 million views. Unlike many Bangladeshi female performers who conceal their identities, B appears openly in her videos, revealing her face alongside her partner, also 28 years old, whose name starts with A and ends with M (referred to as A in this report).
B and A are not confined to a single platform; their videos circulate widely across multiple international adult websites. Their social media presence is systematically used to promote their content.
The Dissent documented at least 50 posts (in the first two weeks of Oct) across various Facebook pages actively advertising B and A’s pornographic videos, highlighting the organized nature of their online operations.
According to the Pornography Control Act 2012 in Bangladesh, production and distribution of pornography are criminal offenses. Not only are they committing this crime, but they are also encouraging others to join the porn industry, creating a network of porn channels in Bangladesh.
Our investigation identified A as the main figure behind this activity for over a year in Bangladesh. But A told The Dissent that he has not faced any administrative action so far for his porn-related work.
But who is this ‘celeb duo’?
A young woman—clad in a kurti and scarf like any ordinary lady—tilts her head slightly and invites viewers on social media: “What’s inside our private video group? Further below are the descriptions of the contents in the video.”
To the uninitiated, the advertisement may not mean much.
But this is how B and A invite people to their customized porn videos on their Telegram account.
The Dissent tried to identify the ‘celeb duo’ of the porn industry– possibly the first of their kind in Bangladesh.
According to the details from A’s national ID card, he hails from Anwara Upazila in Chittagong. Following this information, The Dissent reached his village and asked locals to lead them to his house.

A man stepped forward and said he knew A.
“Yes—he is a person from the dark world. Our village is being defamed because of him,” he said.
Md. Faruk, an auto-rickshaw driver and A’s neighbor, said, “His whole family is known for their involvement in different kinds of crimes.”
When asked if he knew anything about A’s occupation, he said, “He runs an online business involving boys and girls. Sometimes, he comes to the village on a motorcycle with a girl sitting on the back.”
Md. Mofiz, a local businessman, added, “His father used to be a rickshaw puller, but now, from the way they behave, it seems they are millionaires.”
When The Dissent visited A’s house, it was locked. A woman next door said that the family had not been staying there regularly and only came for brief visits.
Meanwhile, according to B’s national ID card, she is from Harirampur Upazila in Manikganj.
When this correspondent visited the location mentioned in the ID card, it was identified as the house of her first husband (for dignity’s sake, we are not disclosing his name), a fisherman by profession. His father confirmed that B was his daughter-in-law.
“But she left home one day eight years ago and never returned,” he said.
B’s father seemed embarrassed to talk about his daughter, whom he estranged one year ago, as he told The Dissent.
“We haven’t had any contact with B for the past year. I have disowned her”, father said. When asked why, he replied, “She doesn’t listen to anything we say.”
According to A’s national ID records, he studied up to class three, while B’s father claimed that she studied up to class four. Both come from poor families, yet their social media profiles now portray a life of wealth and luxury.
The Dissent can confirm that the couple have been living for the last few months in at least two locations in and around Chattogram city.
‘My parents know I make porn videos’
“My parents and family members all know that we are doing porn,” said A.
According to police records, on August 25, A was arrested under Section 151 in connection with a drug-related case, based on a GD filed at Anwara Police Station. However, he was released just a few days later.
But law enforcement agencies appear unaware of his activities as an adult actor.
When asked if he forced B to act as a porn star, he refused to answer. “I’m not going to tell you everything,” he said.
However, a review of B’s social media accounts revealed several posts and videos where she appeared to express regret. In a post shared on both her Facebook and Instagram accounts on October 11, B wrote:
“Why am I treading this path? Does anyone ever try to find out? If I tell my life story, any girl will cry! Hey.”
Several attempts to talk to B have gone in vain. The Dissent repeatedly called and texted her at a number ending in 345, but she did not respond.
“B is my wife — I married her a few years ago,” A told The Dissent.
During a phone interview with A, however, a woman’s voice was heard in the background. When asked about it, A denied her presence, claiming that B was not with him.
A has three brothers. His elder brother holds a private-sector job and is not involved in any criminal activities. However, his other two brothers and their father have criminal records.
According to police, two brothers of A have eight cases against them over allegations including robbery and the abuse of women and children.
How the show runs
Our investigators identified a joint Telegram channel created under the girl’s name on May 22, 2024, which currently has around 2,000 members. The Dissent can confirm that the channel is jointly managed by B and A.
The investigation revealed that the channel was created using a Robi number ending in 345, belonging to B and registered under her national ID. The main admin of the group uses another Robi number ending in 584, registered under A’s national ID card.
The channels are regularly updated with content related to their pornographic videos. On September 9, A posted a link to one of their videos with the caption: “New video published, enjoy boys.”
Each time they release a new video, they share the link in these channels. As of September 30, The Dissent documented around 70 such video links, all originating from their various adult website profiles.
On May 24, 2025, A circulated two photos showing payment transactions from an account of another adult website. The screenshots indicated transfers totaling around 150,000 BDT. He captioned the images: “Money power.”
On June 14, 2025, A posted a photo of the dashboard from B’s adult website account, displaying revenue vouchers from May to December 2024 that totaled USD 15,703 (nearly 2,000,000 BDT). A week later, on June 21, he shared another image of the same account dashboard with the caption: “Income from one video 100,000 BDT,” along with a note of thanks to the platform.
Our investigation found that these were not isolated posts. Within the same Telegram group, we identified at least ten additional posts from B and A flaunting earnings from porn websites, often sharing screenshots of their reported income.
On October 12, A shared a photo in the Telegram group showing the dashboard of B’s Facebook profile. Investigators later located that Facebook account and found an Instagram profile linked to it too. The investigation confirmed that both accounts are operated by B and A.
As the videos and photos shared from these accounts had never appeared on any other platform before, their authenticity was verified through reverse searches.
B’s Facebook ID has around 49,000 followers, while her Instagram account has over 12,000. In the bio section of both accounts, she openly identifies herself as a porn creator, provides a direct link to her adult website, and claims to be “Bangladesh’s number one model.”
As of Oct 10, the Instagram account contained 356 posts, with the first published on May 3, 2024. A significant number of these posts promote her pornographic content and direct followers to her Telegram group. Other posts depict what she portrays as a lavish and carefree lifestyle, frequently featuring drug- and marijuana-related imagery. Similar posts are also shared on her Facebook account.
More than ten posts display large sums of cash, while around another ten highlight expensive assets, including motorbikes and a private car. The captions consistently emphasize money as a central theme, projecting an image that wealth can buy anything—and that her lifestyle is funded entirely by income from the porn industry.
These posts drew reactions from users expressing interest in joining the porn industry.

“Anyone want to work with me?”
On June 8, a boy who appeared to be in his early teens posted his photograph in the Telegram group and expressed interest in engaging with others. Later the same day, he uploaded an explicit video of himself with a caption.
On June 9, the boy shared another indecent video depicting a sexually explicit act and wrote, “I’m interested to work with you,” tagging a user identified as B.
One user, Sajjad, wrote in the group: “If you need a boy to work with, hire me. I’ll work for you.” Another, Rk, asked: “We want to make videos. How can I do that?” Sk Shohel inquired: “If we want, can we earn money like you?” To which A replied: “Yes.”
We attempted to contact several individuals who had commented expressing interest in entering the porn industry. One person agreed to speak on condition of anonymity, saying, “No one would be sane when they see so much money,” underscoring the strong financial incentive driving interest in this sector.
Profiting Through New Recruits
Porn websites make money, pay for the creators and they also offer referral incentives for recruiters. “If we can add a new creator, the website pays us in dollars as a referral bonus,” A told The Dissent.
On May 24, 2025, A shared two photos in a Telegram group. The first showed that a single account on the website could generate multiple types of benefits, while the second demonstrated ways to earn money through the platform. Following these posts, A wrote: “Registration inbox,” directly prompting users to join.
Further recruitment efforts were documented on June 18, 2025, when A posted: “If anyone wants to earn money, inbox me.” Later, on July 28, 2025, B posted in the same group: “Add model, 55 USD free. Interested? Inbox me.”
These messages indicate an organized approach to recruiting new members, with financial incentives as the primary motivator.
In late September, one of our female colleagues, concealing her identity, called A and expressed interest in making videos with them. Later, A asked her to call him on WhatsApp. When she was slightly late, A called her twice.
Afterwards, A asked whether she was single or married. She said she was single. A then told her, “You don’t need to worry about anything, we will arrange everything.”
When she asked about financial matters, A assured her, “There is no problem regarding money.”
He also requested a photo of her voter ID card. Shortly after, he called again and asked her to show her face on a video call.
Expanding a Network
“Around March last year, I met an Indian person on Telegram. He taught me online how to open an account on this website and how to earn money from it. That’s when I opened my account and started uploading videos,” A said during an interview.
The Dissent could not independently verify whether any Indian citizen was actually involved.
On May 23, 2025, A shared two photos in a Telegram group with the caption: “New creator — Support & Subscribe.” In the first image, a woman (not B) is seen holding a placard displaying the name of a porn website channel. The second image shows the channel’s dashboard, revealing earnings of USD 27 along with other performance metrics visible only to the account owner.
Through our investigation, we identified at least five other porn content creators, most of them based in Chittagong. Unlike B and A, however, these individuals could not be clearly identified, as they appeared in videos without showing their faces.
Law Enforcers Are in Dark
According to the Pornography Control Act 2012 in Bangladesh, producing, distributing, or possessing pornography is a criminal offense, punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to one million taka.
Yet, despite this clear prohibition, A has not only managed to continue his illegal activities but has also established B as a high-profile actor in the global adult entertainment market evading the law enforcement agencies for more than one year.
Bangladesh Police has several units to monitor and tackle cyber crimes, but they are in total darkness about this growing market despite A and B’s heavy presence on social media platforms.
When we asked, “Since the work you’re doing is considered a crime in Bangladesh, have law enforcement agencies ever caused you any trouble?” A replied, “No, I’ve never faced any problems.”
Md Rasel, Additional Superintendent of Police (Industrial Area and DB) in Chittagong, said they are not aware of A and B’s activities or any other such developments.
“We don’t have any information about this”, he told The Dissent.
Several attempts to reach out to the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) authorities including its chairperson and commissioners for comments were not successful.
